For all of us who have young people in our lives, I hope your summer break has been a good one, and you have made connections and memories to last a lifetime.
In this new chapter, I’ve also decided to structure my time to take summer off. This includes taking time to connect with nature, myself, family, friends, colleagues, business associates, future business ventures, non-profit leaders, education leaders, successful business entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and more.
During my summer break, I paused on writing and focused on personal learning. Over the coming months, I’ll share some of what I observed and learned about connecting and making an impact. I’m grateful for the moments people shared, their perspectives, and offer to help as I seek to grow.
For now, here’s a podcast that went live in early June. While the topic is on entrepreneurship, I could not help but use team member and leader references; and talk about things from a leadership and investor’s perspective.
If you are a leader of a team, either in a corporate setting, entrepreneurial or non-profit, there is something for everyone.
If you find it valuable to share with your mentees, I would be honored. Leadership is a team effort.
Happy Friday, everyone. Enjoy the last days of summer while they last. I’m enjoying time in Colorado with family and nature. It is soul-soothing. Here’s a quick clip - enjoy!
