Today I had a conversation with a rising leader on the importance of creating work that will stand the test of time.
Well, interestingly enough, I found this timely blog I wrote and posted on July 29, 2011. It’s a short piece and to the point.
It’s nice to read old blogs from yesteryears. I wish I knew what event, learning, or special moment brought this ah-ha. While I can’t recall, I’m glad to find this post and share it with you today.
Knowledge is power.
The more you know the more you realize you don’t know much.
The more you know the more you understand you must have others by your side to fill in the knowledge gaps.
The more you know the more you know who you should have by your side.
In the future, no one will be an expert but you should know enough to partner with others of similar depth on varying topics.
Know enough on topics that interest you so others will want you on their team.
Know enough to know you need others.
Simply put: Know Enough.
Striving for wealth involves knowing enough and enjoying the present —like beautiful summer beaches, sunny days, and gorgeous sunsets.
I hope you enjoy your journey and know enough to bring good people with you along the way.
